			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a title="friends of the earth" href="http://www.foei.org/en" target="_blank">Friends of The Earth International</a> is one of the largest grassroots environmental networks campaigning on the most urgent environmental and social issues. Friends of The Earth challenges the current model of economic and corporate globalization, and <a title="foe programs" href="http://www.foei.org/en/what-we-do/learn-more" target="_blank">promotes solutions </a>that will help to create environmentally sustainable and socially just societies.</p>
<p>After the recent <a title="barcelona climate talks" href="http://unfccc.int/meetings/intersessional/barcelona_09/items/5024.php" target="_blank">Climate Talks in Barcelona</a>, <a title="young friends of earth" href="www.foeeurope.org/youngfoee/index.htm" target="_blank">Young Friends of the Earth</a> posted their Barcelona Report Card assessing the performance of climate-change initiatives and country&#8217;s Kyoto Agreement performance. I think it goes without saying that the U.S.A was a delinquent and poorly scoring &#8220;pupil&#8221;, a surprise to some might be that Canada, Denmark and the entire European Union were too. Listen to the children, they obviously know what&#8217;s important to succeed!</p>
