Interview with Ryan Patterson from Away Inward Retreats.

In the last year and a half California-based massage therapist Ryan Patterson and his Partner Jason Frahm have taken four groups to Peru for a once-in-a-lifetime cultural experience including hikes to sacred Inca ruins, fire dances, earth offerings and plant ceremonies guided by Andean Shamans, massage, journaling, yoga (of course), Machu Picchu (of course) and a deep commitment to serving 2 local orphanages. I interviewed Ryan about the vision of Away Inward and his mission of charitable outreach.

I just read via Elephant Journal that one of my favorite teachers at my favorite yoga studio in Boulder, CO The Yoga Workshop, is being sued by one Robert Heit of Santa Rosa, CA for an adjustment that, Heit claims, resulted in a torn medial meniscus and “severe personal injuries, causing him extreme physical, mental and emotional pain and suffering.”

My guess is, that unless you’re shopping at a fun-filled farmer’s market, your grocery list probably doesn’t elicit cries of “Whoopee, it’s time for food shopping!” Unless, that is, you’re part of Improv Everywhere…
