Dan Schmidt is a good friend, fellow seeker on the path of yoga, a niche photographer who uses an old school large format camera (think the blanket over the head thing) to take gorgeous photos of many things (and a lot of yoga asanas), and… oh yeah… a leading physicist in light ray research (or something like that) at the Institute for Standards and Technology in Boulder, CO.
